Marangattu Kshetram has served as the paradevatha kshetram of Marangattu Kudumbam for centuries. It is the home of Sreebhadra, together with Murthy, Yogeeshwaran and Brahmarakshas, a Yakshi worshipped beneath a pala tree, and two Sarpa Kaavu.
